Symmachos is a personal project, run by an individual (not a registered company), for tracking workouts, nutrition, and bodyweight, and for connecting people with coaches nearby. By using this website or creating an account in the app, you're agreeing to what's below.

Nothing in the app or on this website is medical, dietary, or professional fitness advice. Talk to a doctor or qualified professional before starting a new exercise or diet program, especially if you have an existing health condition.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials to yourself and for what happens under your account. Let us know if you think your account's been compromised. This website itself doesn't have accounts -- that's all in the app.

The Find a Coach directory lists coaches by the information they've chosen to provide. We don't vet, certify, or endorse any coach listed, and listing here isn't a guarantee of qualifications, availability, or quality -- do your own due diligence, same as you would with anyone you're about to train with.

Booking through this site just confirms interest in a time slot between you and a coach directly -- no money changes hands here, no payment details are collected, and we're not a party to whatever arrangement you make with a coach. Any fees, cancellation terms, or agreements are between you and them.

Don't use the app or this website to store or share illegal content, attempt to access another account's private data, scrape or abuse the coach directory, or interfere with the service for other users. Basically: don't be that person.

The app and this website are provided as-is, with no guarantee they'll always be available, bug-free, or that data will never be lost. In practice your app data is kept locally on your device as well as on the server, which limits that risk, but it isn't a guarantee -- this is one person's project, not a company with an SLA.

We may suspend or remove an account, or a coach listing, that violates these terms.

These terms may change as the app and website change. Material changes will be noted here and in the app's in-app changelog, not slipped in quietly.
